Cloud Company iomart Achieves ISO 20000-2011 Accreditation

Cloud company iomart Group plc has achieved ISO 20000-2011 accreditation. ISO 20000-2011 is recognized as an international standard for IT service management and was achieved after third-party auditing provided by auditing and certification services provider ISOQAR, part of the Alcumus group.

iomart Group plc operates a number of brands including Melbourne Server Hosting, RapidSwitch, Redstation, Backup Technology, Easyspace and iomartcloud. The company operates eight datacenters in the United Kingdom. Achieving the standard verifies the standard of the company’s customer support and that the company is performing to recognised industry best practices.

The accreditation covers the company’s network, architecture, design, implementation, installation, operations and support engineer teams. iomart is also PCI DSS compliant and has already received ISO9001:2008 Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 27001:2005 Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) accreditation.

“The quality of our service management system is as critical to our business operations as the strength of our data centre infrastructure,” explained iomart’s Group Technical Operations Director, Neil Johnston. “Securing ISO 20000 demonstrates our commitment to best practice and to consistently delivering cost-effective, high quality IT solutions for our customers.”
