Cloud Company Rackspace Hosting Chosen to Host Minicab Booking App Kabbee
Rackspace Hosting has been chosen to host British booking app “Kabbee”. The company will be providing a managed cloud hosting environment for Kabbee, which caters to Londoners in need of minicabs. Kabbee has just received £3.8 ($6.40) million in funding and provides services for around 70 of London’s cab fleets. Kabbee app users can book and compare prices on specific car types, receiving real-time quotes.
Kabbee’s growth has meant that it outgrew the services provided by its previous host. Rackspace guaranteed 100% uptime and a support team providing the company’s famed “Fanatical Support”. Rackspace was also chosen for its ability to “scale up” as Kabbee’s business grows. Its proven “big data” experience also proved a plus.
"We decided to go with Rackspace for several reasons, but the real stand out reason is their customer support,” explained the Chief Technical Officer of Kabbee, Dave Walker. “For Kabbee, operating in an industry like ours and striving to make minicabs mighty, customer support is of the upmost importance to us and so I look to work with people who feel the same way.
