Cloud Contact Center Software Provider Five9 Recognized for Innovation in the Cloud

San Ramon, California-based cloud contact center software pioneer Five9 has won Cloud Computing Magazine's 'Cloud Computing Excellence Award'. The award recognizes innovation in the cloud and Five9's Virtual Contact Center solution was seen as "helping advance a significant, growing technology market".

Five9 caters to around 1,600 customers offering scalable contact center solutions in the cloud. Its Virtual Contact Center is built on a "fully multi-tenant cloud platform" and offers all of the features offered by traditional contact center operations. These include inbound and outbound calls, interactive speech recognition voice response and workforce management. The company's worldwide customer service and sales organization customers make over 3 billion calls per year with a solution which is costs far less that owning traditional premise-based solutions.
