Cloud hosting provider has partnered with Google and Parallels to bring cloud-based business applications to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The Australian company has become the first cloud hosting provider to promote and support Google Apps for Business. The company is leveraging Parallels Automation's built-in support for the Application Packaging Standard (APS) to configure Google Apps for integration into cloud systems.

While SMBs recognize the advantage of cloud-based business applications, many believe managing multi-party solutions with disparate infrastructure may prove a distraction to their core competencies. OzHosting's ‘Cloud Made Easy’ initiative offers SMBs (and the channel partners who cater to them) the ability to offer multiple products through a single platform with a consistent billing and discount structure.

“At, our goal is to help our channel partners and SMBs become innovative competitors in their chosen line of business," explained OzHosting's CEO, Anthony Banek. Delivering a reliable and secure platform that is easy to use and easy to manage, coupled with complementary support services, we take the pain out of technology. This enables our customers to reach their full potential in the cloud faster, and at a very compelling cost to both channel partners and SMBs.”

“ aggressively adopts best-in-class technologies to maintain and extend their position as early pioneer and leader in cloud services,” explained Parallels' Vice President of Service Provider Marketing and Alliances, Mr. John Zanni. “They have chosen to adopt Parallels Automation and APS as anchor technologies to bring to market world-class services like Google Apps for Business. We see this partnership with and Google as further testament to the capability of Parallels Automation to create a platform that helps partners harness the power of the web to deliver competitive solutions and services to SMBs quickly and efficiently.”
