Cloud monitoring and optimization solutions provider Cloudyn has announced the launch of its Enterprise Chargeback Edition. The new solution enables enterprises to deal with issues related to the control and optimization of cloud deployments. It is currently available as a free trial for a limited time only.

The solution allows enterprise finance and IT departments to fully manage cloud costs down to the departmental level. It also allows them to optimize their cloud activities by providing a single view that covers a variety of business units within an organization. With this view companies can better manage cloud usage and resource allocation, and establish “actionable recommendations” designed to enhance and reduce expenditure.

Cloudyn’s SaaS solution currently monitors 2,500,000 virtual instances and provides companies with usage trend and cost allocation insights. It also provides recommendations on enhancing performance and reducing expenditure. Other features of the company’s Enterprise Chargeback Edition include customized access that allows managers to match business units with specific cloud accounts that meet their needs and costs. The solution additionally allows managers to establish which business units are “driving cloud costs” and how they are doing this.

“With all of the varying pricing models for multiple cloud vendors, we understand that cloud cost management is a significant challenge for our enterprise customer base,” explained Cloudyn’s CEO Sharon Wagner. “Therefore, we’re really pleased to make available this industry-first solution that offers clear insights into how enterprises can spend less on their cloud investment.”
