Cloud Security Company Panda Security Announces Diego Navarrete New CEO

Cloud security company Panda Security has announced that Diego Navarrete is the company's' new CEO.

Established in 1990, Panda Security has 80 offices worldwide with corporate headquarters in Florida, United States and in Spain. The company's cloud-based security solutions are utilized by a broad customer base that includes "millions of users located in 195 countries".

Panda Security was the first IT security provider to utilize cloud computing. The company's security solutions "analyze and classify" a wide range of online threats to ensure the company's corporate customers and individual users receive "the most effective protection against Internet threats" possible. Mr. Navarrete brings substantial experience to his new position at the company.

Mr. Navarrete's last position before joining Panda Security was IBM's European Director of Security Systems Division. Other positions he held at the company included leading the company's Cloud and Server Infrastructure business division for Southwest Europe. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid in Spain. He also completed a number of senior executive programs at INSEAD, London Business School and Boston University.
