European Cloud Services Platform Provider Interoute Achieves ISO 20000 Certification

European cloud services platform provider Interoute Communications Ltd. has achieved ISO 20000 certification. The company, which offers the largest cloud services platform in Europe, achieved certification for its operations center in Prague, Czech Republic and its data centers in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Berlin, Germany and Geneva, Switzerland.

Interoute’s platform includes 60,000 km of fiber connecting 10 data centers and 31 collocation centers, with additional connections to 140 European third-party data centers. The platform caters to enterprises, telecommunications organizations, governments and universities. Alongside Europe and North America, the company has a presence in Dubai.

ISO 20000 is recognized as an international ICT service management standard and the chief accreditation standard for ITIL service management processes. ITIL controls are applied to all of Interoute’s Unified Computing services. The accreditation shows that Interoute's quality processes have been audited by a third party and that the company’s quality and security measures meet ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 criteria.
