Hosting Solutions Provider Atlantic.Net Announces Cloud DNS Availability
Hosting solutions provider Atlantic.Net, whose services include cloud servers, colocation, dedicated servers and virtualization hosting services, has announced the availability of a new Cloud DNS service which the Orlando, Florida-based company is making available to current and new cloud server account holders at no additional cost.
In operation since 1994, Atlantic.Net manages its own SSAE 16 (SOC 1) TYPE II (Formerly SAS 70) data centers. The company’s new Cloud DNS feature provides a fully redundant geographically diverse architecture that enables users to manage DNS records for controlled domain names. It also enables them to change DNS PTR records for Cloud IPs owned by Atlantic.Net.
Cloud DNS supplements the company’s existing cloud server hosting service and offers Atlantic.Net’s customers more control and flexibility. It also demonstrates what Josh Simon, the company’s Director of Data Center Services, suggests is an “ongoing commitment to continually enhance our customer experience.”
The number of DNS records customers can manage through Cloud DNS is unlimited and ongoing customer support is continually available for the service.
