Hybrid IT solution provider Cloud Cruiser has announced the launch of Cloud Cruiser 4. Established in 2010, Cloud Cruiser has headquarters in Campbell, California, USA. The company "provides the industry’s only end-to-end solution that optimizes the delivery of consumption-based IT services for hybrid cloud and traditional computing environments". It works with partners such as Microsoft, HP, Cisco, Rackspace, AWS, VMware and OpenStack to help enterprises move to a more cost-effective pay-per-use model of hybrid cloud services. Against more traditional solutions, Cloud Cruiser 4 can optimize IT services to the extent that savings of 10% on annual IT budgets can be achieved.
Cloud Cruiser 4 offers a range of capabilities including "Executive Insights" - a single-view, customizable interface that offers a dashboard showing information such as usage costs, spend against plan and capacity limits. It also tracks consumption providing reports on costs versus consumption. It also offers unique "What-if Insights" capability which compares data to suggest scenarios that lower costs alongside "up-to-the-minute analytics" designed to enable users to make better decisions on how to manage their hybrid IT environments.
