IaaS Provider BizCloud Announces Bitcoin Payments Now Accepted

IaaS provider BizCloud has announced that it now accepts Bitcoin payments for its services. The San Francisco, California-based company specializes in cloud solutions that focus on business. Through its alliances the company offers cloud computing infrastructure offerings that focus on Business Process Management (BPM) platforms and applications for business.

BizCloud’s Bitcoin payment option began yesterday (May 14, 2014). Bitcoin is a “cryptocurrency” - a “peer-to-peer” payment system launched in 2009 by Satoshi Nakamoto. It is used for the payment of online products and services. Company’s that use Bitcoin enjoy low transaction fees – lower than the traditional
2–3% charged for credit card transactions. BizCloud will allow Bitcoin payments for its each of its public, hybrid, and private cloud infrastructure offerings.

"We decided to accept Bitcoins to give both our domestic and international customers a quick and effortless alternative payment option, but also to support the technology that we believe will disrupt the financial industry in the coming years," explained BizCloud’s Founder and CEO, Vahid Razavi. "Considering our role in the cloud computing space and our commitment to provide industry-leading technology to our customers, Bitcoin was a natural fit."
