Managed services and cloud computing provider Datapipe Asia - the Asian arm of US provider Datapipe - has opened data center facilities and offices in Singapore. The move gives the company a presence in one of the Asia-Pacific region's key locations.

Launched in 2005, Datapipe Asia has a presence in Hong Kong and mainland China. The company also has data center facilities in Shanghai. Datapipe as an organization offers a range of services including cloud computing, Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Platform-as-a-Service, and colocation and data center services.

The company's full range of services (including Stratosphere, Datapipe’s High Performance Compute Cloud, Datapipe Managed AWS and AWS Direct Connect for hybrid cloud solutions) will be available through its Singapore facilities, which benefit from the city state's fiber rich network infrastructure and diverse connectivity options.

“Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai are the preferred locations for multinational companies to establish their headquarters in the APAC region,” explained the CEO of Datapipe, Robb Allen. “This expansion enables us to directly service our enterprise clients in all three locations.”
