Microsoft Partner En Pointe to Speak at Cloud Partners 2013

Microsoft partner En Pointe is to speak at Cloud Partners 2013, a leading Channel Partners event which takes place 11-13 September, 2013 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Cloud Partners is tailored towards "those making a commitment to the cloud" and the vendors and providers that support them. En Pointe is one of the largest Microsoft Systems Integrators and Licensing Solutions Providers and provides a range of technology solutions that leverage the Microsoft product suite. The company's services include hardware procurement, software licensing and deployment services.

En Pointe will speak alongside a range of industry heavyweights including research company Gartner and the likes of AT&T, Citrix, Dropbox, Juniper, Oracle, and Windstream. En Pointe will be represented by Martin Barron, Lead Architect - Microsoft Unified Communications, who will make a presentation on the topic of "Microsoft Online 101".

Mr. Barron, a leading Microsoft product suite expert with vast experience in the information technology sector, will talk about Microsoft Lync Online, a cloud-based Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) offering that connects people and enhances collaboration and productivity through a range of devices running Windows 8 and a range of other operating systems. Lync Online is now available in the cloud, and Mr. Barron will discuss benefits and drawbacks of the service especially compared to other UCaaS offerings.

"It is important for cloud solution providers to know what new products and services are available in today's cloud marketplace in order to better assess customer's needs," explained Mr. Barron. "This session will explore all that Microsoft Online has to offer, how it compares to other UCaaS offerings, and which solutions are best suited to increase a company's productivity, allowing for a more efficient workplace."
