Web Hosting Provider Lunarpages Renews AIS Contract

Web hosting provider Lunarpages has renewed a contract with data center, cloud and connectivity services provider AIS (American Internet Services). AIS will continue to provide Lunarpages space, power and bandwidth through its Lightwave Data Center in San Diego, USA.

The renewal underscores a long-established business relationship. The companies have been working together for over four years and are currently in discussions related to extending their existing relationship to perhaps include cooperating on business development activities at some stage in the future.

Lunarpages has a solid web hosting and managed services business base in the San Diego region. AIS has been a strong component in the company’s success in the area, providing services through its SSAE 16 compliant, SOC 1, 2, and 3 audited data center – one of six AIS carrier-neutral data centers each offering redundancy levels of N+1 / 2N, or more. The company also has a POP (Point of Presence) that operates in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Phoenix, and also manages an optical and dark fiber network and an MPLS network that reaches from Los Angeles to San Diego to Phoenix.
