Web Hosting Services Provider UK Web Host Launches Cloud Hosting from January 2013
Web hosting services provider UK Web Host will launch cloud hosting services from January 2013. The United Kingdom-based host, located in Rotherham, UK, has also indicated that their launch of cloud hosting will come alongside the launch of a new company website.
The company's move is a response to increased demand for cloud hosting solutions that help address scalability and are more cost effective. The company is offering high specification packages with 1GB of disk space and 300GB of bandwidth, and its investment in a cloud infrastructure has extended to owning Cloud VPS Nodes, which will soon be available to the company.
The move comes on the heels of the company's recent launch of traditional VPS packages. "The market for cloud based hosting is growing rapidly," explained Host Surf UK's CEO, Louis Marcus. "The launch of our shared cloud hosting is the first stage of launching our cloud VPS hosting.”
Host Surf UK will transfer limited shared and reseller hosting customers to its new cloud hosting platform in the coming months, while unlimited shared and reseller hosting customers will remain on dedicated servers, or be given the chance to move to a new cloud hosting package that meets their requirements. There will be no price increases as a result of any transition to the cloud.
