I run two WordPress sites for my business and had been with HostPapa for about 3 years. The performance was OK but their support was painfully slow whenever I actually needed help. CanSpace has been a completely different experience. Both sites loaded noticeably faster from day one, and the one time I had a question about my SSL certificate, their support team got back to me within minutes with a clear answer. The pricing is also very competitive - I'm on their Medium plan and it's less than what I was paying before for fewer features. As a small business owner in Ontario, it's also nice knowing my data is actually staying in Canada. Very happy with the switch. |

(March 04, 2026) Easily the best web hosting company in Canada I work for a major university here in Canada so we have sites hosted with almost every web hosting provider in Canada - Web Hosting Canada, HostPapa, etc. While those guys are generally fine, CanSpace has always come out ahead in both performance and support. They really go out of their way to help with even the smallest of issues - going as far as to make design related suggestions that we hadn't even considered ourselves. We're also using WordPress and we find that our sites hosted with CanSpace load faster than with any other provider. Overall we are extremely satisfied with CanSpace and highly recommend them. |

Cody Harris (February 10, 2026) Moving all data back to Canada with CanSpace My company now has a mandate to move our business back to Canada wherever possible. We had a fairly complex WordPress based website we were hosting down in the US for nearly 10 years now without any issues, so we were a bit hesitant to touch things. CanSpace made the migration extremely straightforward. Their sales team was great from the start, and their support team was equally as good. Like many other reviewers have said about CanSpace, my only regret is not switching to them sooner. We are now paying in Canadian dollars, supporting a Canadian company, paying less than before, AND getting way better support. Best decision ever. I highly recommend switching from US hosting companies over to CanSpace for every other Canadian company out there. |
