HostGee Offers Intel E5 Servers to customers

Cloud solutions provider Hostgee.com has added Intel’s Xeon E5 servers to its line-up.

The Xeon E5-2600 products are noted as being high performing, efficient and secure servers, surpassing the specifications of its predecessor.

Along with this they are also reported to reduce data latency by 30 percent, and will now be deployed on HostGee’s network.

Hamid Shamrani, General Manager of Hostgee.com, said: “From the beginning we decided to be an industry leading company.

“We’ve delivered on that vision several times and offering Intel’s new E5 servers, with 20 terabytes of bandwidth, at the price listed, is definitely causing a buzz.”

Shamrani spoke extremely highly of the Intel series, as did the company when asked about the servers.

“The Intel Xeon processor E5-1600/2600 product families deliver up to 80 percent higher performance than their predecessors,” reported Intel recently.

“They provide more cores, cache, and memory capacity, along with bigger, faster communication pathways to more data, more quickly.”
