Cloud Security Company CloudLock Launches Services for SaaS Applications

Cybersecurity-as-a-Service solutions provider CloudLock, Inc. (CloudLock) has launched services for Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications. CloudLock, which has headquarters in Waltham, Massachusetts, United States, specializes in providing enterprise class security solutions for data in the cloud. The company’s range of services extends to Cloud Security Fabric, a solution which monitors a company’s files to “protect their data in the cloud, reduce risk, achieve compliance, manage threats and increase productivity”. Its new option is CloudLock Encryption and Quarantine Management, providing a non-gateway solution with “risk-appropriate” file and folder-level encryption capabilities.

Standard gateway or proxy-based encryption solutions often disrupt cloud platform functionality. CloudLock Encryption and Quarantine Management uses policies to automate and extend cloud DLP, compliance, and governance across cloud environments. It keeps control of encrypted content using cryptographic key storage both on-premise and in the cloud. The CloudLock Encryption and Quarantine Management solution negates the requirement for passwords for user-based access and offers folder-level encryption that enables employees to add files to folders designated for encryption.

“When you can provide an unintrusive, people-centric cloud security solution to organizations of any size and scale, it’s one more step to enabling businesses to adopt and grow in the cloud,” explained CloudLock Vice President of Product Management, Jennifer Sand. “Encryption doesn’t have to get in the way or be an all-or-nothing approach and in today’s era of the cloud, that won’t work anyway. That’s what makes CloudLock’s encryption and quarantining solution unique, allowing organizations to fully embrace the benefits that brought them to the cloud in the first place.”
