Cloud Credits Purchasing Program (CCPP) Cloud services company Skyscape Cloud Services has announced its participation in the VMware Cloud Credits Purchasing Program (CCPP). The program simplifies utilization of public and hybrid clouds by allowing organizations to purchase VMware Cloud Credits. The CCPP was launched early this year and enables businesses to control cloud consumption and ensure IT budgets are spent within project lifecycles.

Skyscape Cloud Services’ cloud solutions are geared towards transforming IT services provision within the UK Public Sector by providing on-demand cloud options that are green and scalable. The company's services have been accredited by CESG Pan Government Accreditor (PGA). By becoming a VMware Service Provider, Skyscape can help the UK's public sector improve "business agility" as IT capital expenditure is reduced. The program also helps organizations adhere to the UK government’s ‘Public Cloud First’ mandate.

"The VMware Cloud Credits Purchasing Program is taking huge steps towards helping businesses better understand and use cloud services," explained Skyscape's CEO, Phil Dawson. "We’re excited to be part of this program and to work with VMware to continuing to focus on helping the UK Government to reduce costs, while ultimately improving services for public sector staff, citizens and tax payers."
