Cloud Services Provider Yorktel Appoints Stéphane Guez Territory Sales Manager for France

Cloud services provider Yorktel has opened a new office in France. The company, which bills itself as a “worldwide leader in unified communications and collaboration (UCC), cloud, and video managed services”, has made Stéphane Guez head of the new office in the position of Territory Sales Manager for France. Mr. Guez will be responsible for increasing revenue the company generates in the country and region.

A 20-year industry veteran, Mr. Guez has held a range of sales and managerial positions prior to joining Yorktel. He has worked for a number of companies including Cabletron Systems, T-Systems, NTT, Nortel and Alvarion. While at Nortel he held the position of Director of Business Development EMEA for the Partners and Enterprise, and was responsible for dramatic revenue increases for the company in the EMEA region.

Mr. Guez’s appointment underscores Yorktel’s commitment to growth. In the last quarter of 2013 the company saw an increase in revenue of 22% driven by a 30% global increase in customers. Established in 1985, the company has headquarters in New Jersey and its customers include leading business players and government organizations.

"France represents the second largest videoconferencing market in Europe, behind only the United Kingdom,” explained the CEO of Yorktel, Ron Gaboury. “As such, strengthening our presence in France is key to our being able to capitalize on this market opportunity."
