Colocation, Cloud, and Managed Services Provider ViaWest Announces Launch of KINECTed PCI-Compliant Cloud Option
Colocation, cloud, and managed services provider ViaWest has announced the launch of a new KINECTed PCI-compliant cloud option. The company, whose headquarters are in Greenwood Village, Colorado, USA, offers a range of services including colocation, private and public clouds and managed services. Its new cloud option is an "audit-ready cloud solution" designed for companies that manage sensitive credit card data.
ViaWest's new option is supported by a fully staffed compliance department and offers security solutions that are fully compliant with industry standards. The new cloud is underpinned by ongoing customer support and a dedicated account manager. The Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the option guarantees 99.9% availability of "compute resources".
“We’ve designed our PCI Compliant Cloud solution from the ground up to satisfy the needs of customers who want to protect themselves against PCI DSS non-compliance,” explained ViaWest's Chief Technology Officer, Jason Carolan. “Our virtual private cloud leverages a dedicated, secure network infrastructure that enables data security in the cloud without having to invest in additional hardware, software, or in-house compliance expertise.”
