Email Security Products Provider SpamExperts Partners with Web and Server Hosting Provider Protagonist
Amsterdam-based email security products provider SpamExperts has partnered with Dutch web and server hosting provider Protagonist. With the partnership, Protagonist now operates SpamExperts’ Local Cloud solution to filter incoming and outgoing email. The solution, which has been deployed on the company’s local hardware, replaces an anti-spam appliance which did not protect servers from being blacklisted. Protagonist’s customer inboxes are now free of spam, while its customers’ IPs are safe from being blacklisted and/or hacked.
“Our upgrade from the slow and expensive appliance we used to have to SpamExperts has been very smooth so far,” explained Andre Peeman, Protagonist’s COO. “The scalability, ease of use and deployment on our hardware, coupled with SpamExperts superior spam intelligence and outgoing filter capabilities, will significantly help us keep our clients happy and spam free.”
Protagonist is recognized as being one of the first Dutch providers to initiate energy efficiency initiatives. Its web servers are currently located in a green data center that utilizes innovative energy saving technologies and operates on “green electricity” – electricity generated through renewable energy resources.
