Give to the Max Day Organizer GiveMN Chooses Kimbia-powered Solution

by Staff Writer

Give to the Max Day organizer GiveMN has chosen a Kimbia-powered solution for its website. The decision to migrate to Kimbia was based on “glitches” experienced during last year’s Give to the Max Day when the event’s website was down for 5 hours.

GiveMN is a nonprofit organization that “facilitates online donations”. Established in 2009, GiveMN generated $95 million in donations for nonprofits and schools in the Minnesota area of the United States. During the last Give to the Max Day, the organization raised $17.1 million which was donated by 52,000 people. The next Give To The Max Day takes place November 13, 2014.

Kimbia is designed to help fundraisers by providing “best-of-breed technology and services” that convert and retain donors and supporters. Kimbia’s new solution will go online in the summer of 2014. The two organizations will work closely to facilitate and seamless transition.

“I’m excited that we are teaming up with Kimbia, the right partner to help us take GiveMN to the next level,” explained Dana Nelson, Executive Director of GiveMN. “The new giving platform is just the start. In the coming years, we’ll be doing even more to transform the way Minnesotans express their generosity.”
