Host Virtual, Inc. Upgrades Denver Datacenter

by Staff Writer

Host Virtual, Inc. has upgraded its datacenter in Denver, Colorado, USA. The company, a cloud hosting provider that operates 16 centers in the United States, Europe and Asia, offers dual-stack IPv4 and IPv6 IaaS clouds to a global customer base that can “deploy Linux, VOIP or FreeBSD servers to any location within minutes”. The upgrade to its Denver center comes only 18 months after it was officially opened in February 2013.

Host Virtual offers a range of services that start at less than $10 per month. These services include cloud hosting infrastructure as a service (IaaS), load balancing services and BGP Anycast options. The news of the company’s Denver center upgrade comes in the wake of a recent upgrade to its Dallas facility. The company also recently opened a new datacenter in Toronto, Canada. Located in central Denver, the datacenter is connected to CoreSite’s Denver-based “carrier hotel” and is ideally protected from natural disaster – Denver has the “least seismic activity in the United States”.

"We constantly monitor our datacenters around the world to ensure that our customers will always have access to the latest technology for their cloud hosting needs," explained Host Virtual’s Director of Customer Experience, Kris Slevens. "This means adding connectivity and storage capacity to existing locations, in the case of our Denver location, and in other cases it means opening up a new datacenter. We need to be wherever our customer demands take us, and always offer the best experience."
