Hosting Solutions Provider Atlantic.Net Announces Reduced Out-bound Bandwidth Prices for Cloud Customers

Hosting solutions provider Atlantic.Net has announced reduced out-bound bandwidth prices for its new and existing cloud customers. Alongside free in-bound data traffic, the Orlando, Florida-based company is now including GB of out-bound data transfer with all cloud server accounts at no additional cost to customers. It is also reducing out-bound data transfer fees from 11 cents per GB, to 5 cents per GB. The company's hosting plan prices start at $9.49 per month or 1.3 cents per hour.

Atlantic.Net's services include cloud servers, colocation, dedicated servers and virtualization hosting. The company has its own SSAE 16 (SOC 1) TYPE II data center infrastructure. Its reduction of cloud fees is a result of the company enhancing its backbone infrastructure and adding bandwidth by expanding its network peering in February 2013.

“Our latest network peering and infrastructure enhancements have enabled us to provide our clients the best value without compromising quality,” explained Atlantic.Net's Director of Data Center Services, Josh Simon. “Our greatly reduced out-bound data transfer rate offers fantastic savings over the competition, at 58% less expensive than our competitors.”

Reduced fees - that has to be good news! Do you know of any other companies reducing their fees? Add your comments below.
