Managed Cloud Company Rackspace Joins Arrow Electronics Cloud Services Offerings
A distribution deal has been signed between managed cloud company Rackspace and Arrow Electronics, Inc. The agreement allows Arrow's solution providers to become part of the Rackspace reseller program - a program that offers users a range of discounts and sales support alongside helpdesk and financing services. The Rackspace program also features services such as private and dedicated cloud servers, public multi-tenant clouds, data stores, ecommerce solutions, and digital marketing. It also provides VMware-based options.
Rackspace's offerings will be made available through the "ArrowSphere" platform which provides access to managed service providers, software vendors, a range of cloud services, and other products and services offered through Rackspace's channel ecosystem. ArrowSphere features online stores which providers can customize to offer Arrow cloud offerings alongside their own offerings.
“Our agreement with Arrow represents a key strategic move extending the value of Rackspace’s managed cloud offering deep into the enterprise segment,” explained Rackspace's Senior Vice President of America Sales, Todd Cione. “Through our shared emphasis on delivering specialized expertise, this collaboration with Arrow will allow us to extend the reach of our Fanatical Support® to leading solution providers within the United States and Canadian market, and eventually expand on a global scale”.
