Managed cloud hosting services provider ServInt has announced that it now accepts Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin as payment for its products and services. The company, which was established in 1995, is located in Northern Virginia, USA and offers IaaS, PaaS, VPS and dedicated server solutions to customers in around 130 countries. The company's move is recognition of the importance of cryptocurrencies in today's web hosting arena. GoCoin will act as processor for the payments.

"As always, our top priority is making our customers' lives as easy as possible, and a growing number have told us they prefer to transact their online business using web-based alternative currencies," explained Christian Dawson, the COO of ServInt. "They asked for greater choice and convenience, and we responded. It's as simple as that."

GoCoin was the first payment platform to facilitate cryptocurrency payments and the company's services allow ServInt to "instantaneously exchange Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dogecoin payments for U.S. dollars at the moment of the transaction". "Over the past two decades, ServInt has built a reputation as an innovative, yet prudent, cloud hosting provider," explained Steve Beauregard, CEO of GoCoin. "We are eager to work together to provide ServInt customers with a digital currency payment option that aligns perfectly with the coin communities' core values."
