Secure Cloud Hosting Provider FireHost Launches Secure Data Center in Singapore

Secure cloud hosting provider FireHost has announced the launch of a secure data center in Singapore. The company, which specializes in providing managed infrastructure options, has made the move to better enable customers based in North America, Europe and the Middle East to “do business in the fast-growing Asian market”. The move comes on the heels of “several years of 100 percent year-over-year global revenue growth”.

FireHost specializes in providing secure cloud hosting and safeguarding data in the cloud and its infrastructure was built with “security, compliance, performance and scalability” in mind. The company’s new facility is connected to data center locations in Dallas, Phoenix, London and Amsterdam via an MPLS connection which supports disaster recovery and “geographically redundant secure compute and storage”. Given its network infrastructure and connectivity into the Middle East and Australia, Singapore was the natural choice for it latest expansion.

“The market for our managed, secure infrastructure continues to grow rapidly, as evidenced by our successful expansion into Europe over the past two years,” explained FireHost’s CEO, Chris Drake. “Our customers have market opportunity in the AsiaPac region and our infrastructure will help them meet those opportunities. We view this move into Asia as a vital progression both for our business and for our customers’ businesses.”
