Software AG Announces Portfolios Live Availability at Innovation World 2013 in San Francisco
Software AG has announced the availability of Portfolios Live at Innovation World 2013 in San Francisco, USA. Part of the Software AG Live Platform-as-a-Service suite, the new cloud-based solution utilizes budget, regulatory, legal and technical information to allow companies to manage their IT functions, including process design, application development and application integration. Portfolios Live manages tasks that "enterprise architects" and portfolio managers generally have to manage. The new solution collects, connects and assesses IT assets to support a company's business decisions. “Identifying the cost and strategic business support of your IT assets is a fundamental first step on the road to the Digital Enterprise”, explained Wolfram Jost, CTO of Software AG. “Having this service available in the cloud enables organizations to start well informed IT planning at a project level and scale up on demand.” Employing 5,300 people in 70 countries and with revenues of €1.05 billion ($1.42 billion) in 2012, Software AG provides a range of technologies covering big data, integration and business processes that help businesses operate more efficiently. The company operates in around 15 market categories under brands that include Adabas and Natural, ARIS, Terracotta, and webMethods.
