Vanessa Alvarez Name Cloud Expo 2014 Conference Chair

Vanessa Alvarez has been named Cloud Expo 2014 conference chair. A recognized "thought leader" in the Cloud arena, Ms. Alvarez is a technology executive who is currently Head of Marketing at hyperconverged solutions and private cloud infrastructure provider Scale Computing.

Ms. Alvarez has considerable industry experience and was previously a networking and storage technologies analyst at The Yankee Group. She also worked for Forrester Research and is a recognized expert in advising companies how to maximize IT environments through emerging technologies. The Huffington Post recognized her as one of 2013's Cloud Computing Experts.

Cloud Expo 2014 is managed by SYS-CON Media and takes place at the Javits Center in New York City, June 10-12, 2014. It features a range of sessions from leading cloud industry players. The event will cater to the interests of infrastructure, platform and application providers and will feature several networking opportunities.
