Web Hosting Company Vault Networks Announces the Launch of vnCloud Cloud Computing Platform

Web hosting company Vault Networks has announced the launch of its vnCloud Cloud Computing Platform - the company's first move into the cloud arena. The Miami-based company, which has traditionally provided a range of services, including colocation and dedicated and managed hosting services, is targeting vnCloud at small to medium-sized businesses that require the cost-efficiency and agility cloud servers offer.

Using vnCloud Vault Networks' customers can design and deploy cloud servers in only a few minutes and scale resources based on demand. Whereas most cloud providers promote the scalability of their cloud products, vnCloud is provided on a subscription-based model where the number of processors, and the amount of disk space and memory a customer requires is paid for on a monthly basis. Customers can use these resources to establish custom-built cloud servers and ultimately establish their own Virtual Data Center. The decision to offer vnCloud with monthly rather than hourly-based pricing was based on costs to customers - prepaid monthly pricing eliminates the need for an hourly premium and offers companies that forecast their short-term needs substantial savings.

"We noticed that the hourly-based pricing structure most of the bigger players were using was, at the end of the day, adding up to a very expensive solution," explained Brian Jankovich, VN’s Founder and President. "We knew our clients wanted to start leveraging the power and flexibility of cloud servers, but didn’t want to break the bank to get there. Our model fills that gap."

Vault Networks caters to customers in over 20 countries and its latest product has been met with a promotion. The company is offering a promo code (“100FREE6513”) which will secure potential customers $100 credit to buy cloud server resources. The saving is available to both current and new Vault Networks customers that are interested in vnCloud. The company will be launching a Channel Partner program in the near future that will allow resellers to add cloud services to the solutions they offer.
